Counselling covers a wide range of therapeutic approaches and interventions, designed to address a multitude of psychological and emotional concerns, all leading to the goal of increased wellbeing.

Anxiety

Sometimes anxiety can be caused by a specific situation, other times it can be intrusive thoughts that threaten to take over your life and thought patterns. Through developing strategies and self-awareness, we can cultivate calmness and regain control over our thoughts.

Stress

We will explore the root of stress, and develop resilience and strategies to find peace in the midst of chaos, with practical stress-reduction techniques.

Self-Care

Self-care is something that is spoken about a lot these days, but it can be something that is challenging for us to implement in a personal and effective way. Together we can delve into what showing compassion to yourself truly looks like for you in your unique situation

Trauma

Whether it be a recent trauma or an experience that has been hanging over you for a long time back, there can be freedom and release from these memories and experiences. Working together, you can enter a season of post-traumatic growth, regaining peace and stability.

Self-Discovery

We can often feel that we don’t even know ourselves. If you want to grow in self-awareness, confidence and self-esteem, together we can journey through getting to know what makes you tick, unpacking the very essence of what makes you you.

Christian Counselling

When faith is central to your life, it becomes essential that your counselling embrace your spirituality as well as your emotional, psychological and physical well-being. We provide an integrated approach - combining faith and counselling to offer a holistic approach to well-being.

Before the Session

 

I understand that seeking counselling can be a big step and can feel quite daunting. I am here to make your journey as smooth as possible.

From the moment you reach out, you can expect a warm and supportive experience.

After you book, you will receive an information package with all the information you will need to begin your counselling story.

This package includes payment details, how to join the sessions, and how to prepare for sessions.

You can also book a free 15-minute consultation session with me before your first session and I can answer any questions you may have.

During the Session

Your needs and preferences are at the heart of our sessions.

All my sessions are client-led, which means we will focus on you and what you want to share.

I will provide a safe and confidential space where you can openly discuss any topic that matters to you.

It is also perfectly okay if you are unsure what you want to talk about - I am here to assist.

During our first session, we can work together to unpack what is going for you at the moment and identify areas you want to discuss further.
